“non-toxic” can describe an ingredient or an entire formula. it is used for a formula when all of the ingredients meet a certain level of non-toxicity, or when the modeled sum of all of the ingredient toxicities is less toxic than a widely accepted threshold for safety. to assess the toxicity of our formulations, we use data from suppliers, as well as simulated skin and eye tests. we never test on animals.
what does method mean when it says “non-toxic”?
